Speed to lead

Speed to lead: every new lead called in seconds, every missed call texted back.

Speed to lead is the time between a prospect showing interest and your business making contact; an AI speed-to-lead system closes that gap to seconds by calling every new lead, texting back every missed call, and qualifying and booking them into your calendar.

The lead who filled in your form probably filled in your competitors' too. The first business to call usually gets the conversation, and most teams call back when they get a quiet moment. This puts your call first, every time, without anyone watching the inbox.

Consulting first

Slow follow-up is often the easiest leak to see, not the biggest. The audit comes first: where your revenue is created and where it is lost, then the system actually worth building.

The problem

By the time you call back, they have already talked to someone else.

A new lead is never more interested than in the minute after they reach out. They are at a screen, they have just described their problem, and they are waiting to see who responds. The business that calls in that minute gets the conversation. The one that calls after lunch gets voicemail.

Most teams are not slow because they do not care. The form lands in an inbox nobody is watching, the phone rings while everyone is on another call, and the follow-up waits for a quiet moment that never comes. Nobody decides to lose those leads. They just go cold in a queue.

What it does

Three jobs, done the moment a lead arrives.

  • Every new lead gets a call in seconds.

A form, a quote request or an ad lead triggers a call before the prospect has closed the tab. If they do not answer, a text follows with a way to book.

  • Every missed call gets a text back.

When someone rings and nobody picks up, they get a text within moments that says who it is from, with a way to book or a time you will call back.

  • Every lead is qualified and booked.

Working as an AI appointment setter, it asks your qualifying questions, books the leads who fit into your calendar, and hands the rest to your team with a summary.

How it runs

From a new lead to a booked appointment.

  1. 01

    A lead arrives.

A form submission, an ad lead, a quote request, or a call nobody answered.

  2. 02

    It responds in seconds.

A call to new leads and a text to missed callers, each saying which business it is.

  3. 03

    It qualifies.

Your questions, in your words: what they need, when, where, and whether they fit.

  4. 04

    It books or hands off.

Qualified leads go straight into your calendar. Anything else reaches a person with the transcript, and the whole exchange is written to your CRM.

The rules

Consent comes before speed.

Calling and texting leads automatically is regulated, so the setup starts there, not with the voice.

  • An AI call needs consent first

Since the FCC's February 2024 ruling, a voice generated by AI counts as an artificial voice under the TCPA. A lead has to consent before an AI calls them, and marketing calls need that consent in writing, so the consent wording goes on your form first.

  • Business texts need a registered line

US carriers filter texts from numbers that are not registered for business messaging (A2P 10DLC), so the line is registered before the first text goes out.

  • Every contact identifies itself and offers a way out

Calls say who is calling and how to opt out, texts say how to stop, and a stop is honoured immediately.

  • Calls happen when calls are allowed

Within legal calling hours where the lead is, and only to people who reached out or opted in.

Your lawyer approves the consent wording before anything is automated. This page describes how we set it up; it is not legal advice.

Proof

What we can and cannot show you yet.

There is no published speed-to-lead build. What is published is an AI receptionist for a detailing business in Southwest Florida: it answers the calls the owner misses, qualifies the caller, and puts the lead on the owner's phone seconds after the call ends, with a callback promised within 45 minutes. Calling new leads the moment a form arrives is the same agent pointed outward. What a pilot proves is how your leads respond to it, on your own traffic.

We will not name a client without written approval, and we will not quote a result we have not measured.

The limits

What it will and will not do.

It never calls anyone who has not consented, and it stops the moment someone asks it to. It says who it is calling for, and that it is an AI where the law requires it. It books only into the slots you allow, and it hands the conversation to a person when a lead asks for one or asks something outside your script. What it may say, and when it may call, is written down and approved before it contacts a single lead.

The full process

What changes

What is different once it runs.

  • The first call is yours.

New leads hear from you while they are still at the screen, not after they have spoken to someone else.

  • Missed calls stop disappearing.

Every caller who does not reach a person gets a text back and a way to book.

  • Your team talks to qualified leads.

The questions are asked before anyone picks up the phone, so a person's time goes to leads who fit.

  • Response time becomes a number you can see.

Every lead is logged with when it arrived and when it was first contacted.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about speed to lead.

01How is this different from other AI agencies?

Most agencies sell from a fixed list of AI services, so the answer is decided before anyone looks at your business. JDAI.Solutions starts with an audit: where revenue is created, where it is lost, and which of those gaps a system can close. We then build only what can be justified on return, which is why this is consulting rather than a catalogue.

02Is it legal for an AI to call our leads?

Yes, with consent. Since the FCC's February 2024 ruling, AI voices fall under the same TCPA rules as other artificial voices, so a lead must consent before an AI calls, and marketing calls need written consent. We put the consent wording on your form, register your texting line with the carriers, and your lawyer approves the wording before anything goes live. None of this is legal advice.

03What happens if the lead does not answer?

They get a text with a way to book or reply, and the agent tries again on the schedule you set. It stops as soon as they book, reply, or ask it to.

04Can it book into our calendar?

Yes. It books through Cal.com, which connects to Google and Microsoft calendars, into the slots you allow, with the buffers and rules you set.

05What does a missed call text back say?

A short message that says who it is from, offers a way to book or a time you will call, and says how to stop. You approve the wording before it goes live.

06How is this different from an AI receptionist?

An AI receptionist answers the calls you miss while they are happening. Speed to lead goes after new leads the moment they arrive, calling and texting out, so the first conversation is yours.

Cost

What drives the quote.

Pricing is not published. Every engagement gets a fixed quote after the audit. These are the things that move it.

  • Lead volume, and how many sources the leads come from.
  • Whether it calls, texts, or does both.
  • Which calendar and CRM it books into and writes to, and whether each has a usable API.
  • The compliance setup: consent capture, carrier registration, calling hours and recording rules.

Next step

Your next system starts with twenty minutes.

A complimentary audit, run by an engineer. A fixed quote before anything is built. The audit is yours to keep, whichever way you decide.
