Custom software

Custom software built to how your business actually runs.

Custom software development, for us, means building the dashboard, CRM or AI system your business needs when no product fits it.

When off-the-shelf tools bend your process instead of serving it, we build the thing you actually need, shaped like your pipeline rather than someone else's template.

Consulting first

These are the ones clients ask for by name. The work starts earlier. We analyse where your revenue is created and where it is lost, then recommend the system actually worth building, which is often not on this list.

    Custom dashboard development

Live operational views over your real data. Every lead, every call, one screen.

Sales pipeline, call log, job status, cash position: read from the systems you already run, refreshed live, with role-based views for owner, manager and front desk.

  • 02

    Custom CRM development

Pipelines, roles and automations modelled on your business, not a template.

Stages named the way your team talks, fields your industry actually needs, and the reminders, handoffs and reports built in rather than bolted on.

    Custom AI solutions

Bespoke agents, pipelines and evaluations where no product fits.

Document processing, internal assistants over your own data, scoring and routing models, each with an evaluation set so you can see when it is right and when it is not.

What changes

What is different once it runs.

  1. The tool fits the process.

Nobody keeps a spreadsheet on the side because the software cannot hold a field. The system models how the work actually moves.

  2. One screen, real numbers.

Owners and managers see leads, jobs and money from every source in one place, live, instead of reconciling three exports on Friday.

  3. You own everything.

Code in your repository, data in your database, running in your cloud accounts. If we disappeared tomorrow, another engineer could pick it up.

  4. It keeps working after launch.

Logs, alerts and a fixed monthly retainer for changes, so the system grows with the business instead of decaying.

Integrations

What we connect.

If it has an API, we integrate it. If it does not, we build the bridge.

AI integration services for the systems this category touches, grouped by what you are looking for.

Data sources
Your CRM, phone system, booking tool, accounting software and spreadsheets, read through their APIs or exports.
Databases and hosting
Supabase, PostgreSQL, Vercel, AWS and Google Cloud, set up in your accounts, not ours.
Sign-in and roles
Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Clerk and Auth0, with permissions per role.
Payments and money
Stripe, QuickBooks and Xero, so revenue shows next to the work that earned it.
Messaging and alerts
Telegram, Slack, SMS and email for the moments a person needs to act.

How it runs

A custom software engagement starts with an audit of the whole operation, from first enquiry to finished job, and of every tool the work passes through on the way: the fields that live in people's heads and the reports someone rebuilds by hand every week. The pilot is a working slice on real data, usually the one screen the owner checks most, delivered within a week of the audit and used before anything else is built. The build adds the remaining views, roles and integrations in your own repository and cloud accounts, to a fixed quote agreed after the pilot; at launch, the old spreadsheet stays open until the team stops reaching for it.

The full process

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about custom software.

01How is this different from other AI agencies?

Most agencies sell from a fixed list of AI services, so the answer is decided before anyone looks at your business. JDAI.Solutions starts with an audit: where revenue is created, where it is lost, and which of those gaps a system can close. We then build only what can be justified on return, which is why this is consulting rather than a catalogue.

02Why not an off-the-shelf tool?

Often you should use one, and we will say so. We build custom when the tool bends your process instead of serving it, or when the data you need is in three systems.

03Who owns the code?

You do, from the first commit, in your own repository and cloud accounts.

04How long does a dashboard take?

A pilot on real data within a week of the audit. The full build depends on integrations, and is quoted after the audit.

05What does a custom software development company cost compared to a subscription?

More up front, less over time, and only worth it when the subscription is bending your process. The audit answers this with your numbers before you commit to anything.

06Can you take over software someone else built?

Yes, after a code review. We document what exists, stabilise what is fragile, and only rebuild the parts that block the changes you need.

Cost

What drives the quote.

Pricing is not published. Every engagement gets a fixed quote after the audit. These are the things that move it.

  • How many screens and roles: one owner view, or views for sales, operations and the front desk.
  • How many systems the software reads and writes, and whether each has a usable API.
  • Whether an AI component is included, and how much evaluation it needs before you can trust it.
  • Compliance needs: audit logs, data retention and access controls.

Next step

Your next system starts with twenty minutes.

A complimentary audit, run by an engineer. A fixed quote before anything is built. The audit is yours to keep, whichever way you decide.
